He's a tough fellow with some very damaging attacks, but as long as you play smart you can get through the fight without much problems. We recommend grabbing the loot, then returning to the southern passage.īefore long, you'll reach the chamber of the portrait's boss, Dullahan. However, heading north will take you to some items including helpful magic skills. Staying along the lower path heading east will take you right towards the boss fight at the end of the portrait stage. There's another branch here, and another decision for you to make. If you do it right, however, you'll ride the cart through the passage.Īfter the ride, continue east to find the Skill Cube. If you're not quick enough, the mine cart will leave off the screen and your partner that was waiting will warp off. When you've done that, use your active partner to hit the switch to the left, and then quickly switch control to the partner still in the mine cart. Step into the mine cart and use the Wait Cube technique to leave a partner there. When you reach the lower passage, you'll find a small puzzle that requires a bit of teamwork between your two partners. We recommend grabbing the spell, then backtracking to the downward path to continue the romp through the portrait. The downward path leads you towards the end of the stage, but if you keep heading east you'll reach an area with some useful items (including the Holy Lightning magic spell).

They're tricky!Ībout a third through the portrait, you'll come to a branch with one path leading down. When fighting the Zacchnio baddies, crouch to dodge their sword stab. Make your way east and you'll find that the area is very linear, but packed with enemies.

The City of Haze portrait is laid out in a mostly horizontal stretch.
